Hey all. I just signed up to the community. Obviously I love kop, but I never actually thought to look for a community or anything. Stumbled upon it from one of my friend's pages, so I thought I'd join up and say hi. I'm looking forward to getting to know the ones of you who I don't know already. Friend me if you want. I'll drop by again some time soon, but unitl then...

Peace out,
Sinead

From the kind of pluto forum:
Hi everyone.

It is with sadness in my heart that i must announce that i have left kind of pluto. It is time for me to move on, to focus on some other things in my life and changes are a necessary part of that.

I want to sincerely thank everyone for their support of the band and the love that you've all shown me and all of us. I've spent 5 years in this band and have honestly loved every second. Believe me when I say that my experience in k.o.p would not have been nearly the same without all of you. Looking out from the stage and seeing people mouth the words to songs they've never heard outside of a gig is a rare and phenomenal thing. Thank you for believing in us.

This is by no means the end of k.o.p - keep an eye out for a new lineup and some mental exciting times ahead.

Again, thanks for everything.

I'll see you all at the next k.o.p gig, only this time i'll be one of you.

Thanks,

Ben.

Ok, let's start off with an easy one.... [05 Dec 2004|03:46pm]

What's your favourite kop song? Why?

Oooh, me first!
Since they stopped playing Only Problem, which I still get stuck in my head from time to time, my answer would have to be Stretch Armstrong, I've always liked songs with a nightmarish quality to them (eg. Lullaby by the Cure), and I particularly liked the frenetic instrumental break. Before they changed it to 4/4, that is. Still an awesome song, but the instrumental break made it kinda unique. Or maybe that's my fondness for odd time signatures showing through. :)
Of the 'newer' songs, it'd have to be Elevators. When their album comes out, that song is gonna own the radio.

Ok, I've shown you mine, now show me yours! ;)
